This course is a creative journey into the life of an interior designer. Get an introduction to what the job entails and explore the essential concepts and tools for implementing an exciting idea into a physical space. Learn how to carry out an interior design project; everything from finding inspiration to the final touches. Alongside Acel Rivers, creative director of Acel Rivers Design Studio, you will achieve amazing results with limited resources and reuse everyday objects by following the DIY philosophy. Discover the relationship between interior designer and client. Analyze your client’s philosophy and space, and see how to reflect the client's requirement into a brief, translating your project into clear key concepts. With everything laid out, learn how Acel and Yuvraj work on different spaces according to the needs of each project, and how to fill each environment with life. Discover the importance of collecting reference images from other spaces, organizing your work materials and color palette to create a mood board. In this course, you will also learn space planning, materials, the history of interior design, how to make furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, plumbing and electrical layouts, product and furniture design, how to make presentations for clients. You will also learn 2D Drafting, 3D visualizations, how to do estimation and costing for any project. At the end of the course, we will provide communication skill classes with mock client meetings. The class mode will be Online via Zoom. Once the booking is verified you will receive a zoom link via email. Course duration is 24 - 52 weeks and you will have 1-year support after the program completion.
